• Advanced Composite Technology – GIANT’s high performance carbon fiber is used to make this special carbon frame material, woven and processed in our own factory for an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is formed as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.
• Advanced Forged Composite Technology – This high-pressure molding process produces components with complex shapes that are lighter and stronger than aluminum or standard composite parts.
• Maestro Suspension Technology – Four strategically placed pivot points and two linkages combine to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
• OverDrive Oversized steerer tube – Built for steering precision, the extra-large headset bearings and tapered steerer tube deliver optimal front-end stiffness.
• Tubeless System – Fewer punctures. Better traction. Less rolling resistance. GIANT’s Tubeless System makes mounting easier and provides extra riding pleasure.
• Flip Chip – Maestro – The Flip Chip allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of your Maestro-equipped mountain bike. It allows you to change the head tube/seat tube angle and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-stage) hardware located on the top rocker.
• PowerCore – The PowerCore bottom bracket shell is another item that contributes to Giant’s high frame stiffness. The wide fit of the bottom bracket shells and the good connection around MegaDrive downtube increase frame stiffness.
