Billing Terms & Conditions

These Billing Terms describe how payments are processed by Bike Life LLC (“Bike Life Bicycle Shop”) for orders placed on bikelifebicycleshop.com.

1. Accepted payment methods

We may add or remove payment methods at any time. The methods available to you are shown at checkout.

2. Currency

All prices and charges are in U.S. Dollars (USD). If your card or PayPal account is denominated in a different currency, your bank or payment provider will perform the conversion at its prevailing rate; any conversion or foreign transaction fees are your responsibility.

3. When you are charged

You are charged the full order amount (product, applicable sales tax, and shipping) at the time you place your order. We do not pre-authorize and capture separately unless explicitly stated on the product page (for example for pre-orders).

4. Sales tax

Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address you provide and applicable U.S. state and local rules. The tax amount is itemized at checkout before you pay.

5. Card storage and security

Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, both PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. Bike Life LLC does not store full card numbers or CVV codes. All transactions occur over TLS/SSL encryption.

6. Order confirmation

After payment you will receive an email confirmation with your order number and an itemized receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes, check your spam folder and then contact info@bikelifebicycleshop.com.

7. Failed or declined payments

If a payment is declined or reversed, your order will not be processed. We may contact you to arrange an alternative payment method. We are not liable for losses caused by declined transactions or by your payment provider.

8. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method per our Refund & Returns Policy.

9. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact info@bikelifebicycleshop.com first so we can resolve the issue directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and could result in cancellation of pending orders.

10. Fraud prevention

We use industry-standard fraud screening (AVS, CVV verification, 3-D Secure where available). We may request additional verification for high-value orders and reserve the right to cancel orders that fail fraud checks.
