The Exie For XC
XC riding is best done on a bike that has less suspension travel on the front and rear. These bikes perform well when you need to climb long hills, sprint on flat terrain, and do fast descents. The Ibis Exie GX Bike is ready for any XC course or trail. It has a carbon fiber frame that uses 100mm of travel on the rear and 120mm of travel on the front. The frame features internal cable routing, Boost hub spacing, a chain guide, chainstay protection, and wide tire clearance for up to 29×2.4″ tires.
The GX version of the Ibis Exie comes with a SRAM NX/GX 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-52T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through demanding terrain much easier. Shimano Deore M6100 hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Ibis aluminum rims are paired with Maxxis Recon Race tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the KS Rage-i Dropper Post, you’ll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
