When it comes to XC riding and racing, you’ll want a mountain bike that is lightweight and has less travel so you can climb and sprint easier. The Orbea Oiz H20 Bike is built for cross-country, marathon, and light trail riding. It has a hydroformed aluminum frame that uses 120mm of travel on the front and rear. The rear uses a UFO pivotless rear triangle that removes weight and flex for a lighter and stiffer setup. The frame also features internal cable routing, Boost hub spacing on the rear, a press-fit bottom bracket, and integrated chain stay protection.
The H20 version of the Orbea Oiz comes with a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-50T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through difficult terrain much easier. Shimano M6100 hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. Alloy tubeless-ready rims are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the OC Mountain Control MC20 Dropper Post, you’ll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
