Rennstahl has a mission – to build the best touring bike in the world. The Pinion is extremely solid and reliable, a true expedition bike. Almost all components are made in Germany, representing the possibilities of state-of-the-art engineering. Also extremely durable and almost maintenance-free is the Pinion gear shift and the toothed belt used. The frame geometry with the sloping top tube allows for a wide range of legroom and seating positions from sporty stretched to comfortable upright. The gearbox and lighting system are colour-coordinated for a beautiful look.

Details of the Rennstahl 853 Pinion
The frame, specially adapted to the Pinion gearbox, is made of hardened Reynolds 853 steel and undergoes a cathodic dip coating before painting, making the material extremely resistant to corrosion. The steel fork provides comfort through high vibration absorption. The adjustable dropouts not only make mounting easier, but also ensure 700C & 650B wheel compatibility. In addition to the SON hub dynamo and the SON headlight, the basic equipment also includes the in-house Rennstahl luggage racks and the SKS mudguards.
