Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy describes how Bike Life LLC (“Bike Life Bicycle Shop”, “we”, “us”) fulfills and ships orders placed at bikelifebicycleshop.com.

1. Where we ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not currently ship to U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, USVI), P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or internationally.

2. Handling time

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation (Mon–Fri, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Custom-built or pre-order items may require additional handling time, which is stated on the product page.

3. Delivery time

Once dispatched, typical delivery times (business days) are:

Alaska & Hawaii 5–10 days 10–18 days

Delivery times are estimates from the carrier and not guarantees. Weather and carrier delays may extend transit times.

4. Shipping cost

  • Accessories & small parts: flat rate from $4.95 (calculated at checkout based on weight and ZIP).
  • Full bicycles: from $79 ground freight, continental U.S. (calculated at checkout).
  • Alaska/Hawaii surcharge: applies and is shown at checkout before payment.
  • Free standard shipping on accessories & parts orders over $99 (continental U.S. only). Free shipping does not apply to full bicycles unless explicitly stated on the product page.

All shipping costs are displayed and confirmed at checkout before you complete payment. There are no hidden fees.

5. Carriers

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS for parcels. Full bicycles ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, or LTL freight where required by size. The carrier is selected based on destination, weight, and dimensions; it cannot be specified by the customer at this time.

6. Tracking

A tracking number is emailed to the address on the order as soon as the carrier picks up the shipment. You can also view tracking under “My Account → Orders” on bikelifebicycleshop.com. If you have not received tracking within 3 business days of placing your order, contact info@bikelifebicycleshop.com.

7. Signature, inspection, and damaged shipments

Full bicycles and orders over $500 require an adult signature at delivery. Inspect your package for visible damage before signing. If damage is visible:

  • Note the damage on the carrier’s delivery slip.
  • Photograph the box and any visible damage.
  • Email info@bikelifebicycleshop.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

We will replace damaged items or refund at our option, at no cost to you.

8. Shipping address changes

Address changes must be requested before the order is dispatched. Once a tracking number has been issued, address changes are subject to carrier fees and may not be possible. To request a change, email info@bikelifebicycleshop.com with your order number.

9. Lost packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors and your local carrier first. If still unresolved after 48 hours, contact info@bikelifebicycleshop.com and we will open a carrier investigation on your behalf.
