Cross-country mountain bikes are designed to go fast. However, is it possible to go even faster than that? The Cervelo ZHT-5 GX Bike is fast, efficient, and fun to ride. It has a 69° head tube angle, modern reach, and short chainstays that combine to make a bike that’s stable at speed and nimble enough for pack racing. The carbon fiber frame is a super stiff featherweight fighter so you can sprint to the finish without all the flex. The frame uses 100mm of travel on the front and features internal cable routing and Boost hub spacing with thru-axles.
The GX version of the Cervelo ZHT-5 comes with a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. With an ultra-wide 10-52T gear range on the cassette, you’ll be able to climb the steepest inclines and still sprint to the finish line. SRAM Level TL hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. Race Face ARC Offset 27 wheels are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. This will be the best bike for those who want a lightweight bike that can go long distances.
