Endurance And All-Weather Pavement Riding
Many riders want a bike that is versatile and can ride on many different surfaces. With a gravel bike, you’ll be able to ride on mixed terrain with ease. The Marin Gestalt 1 700c Bike is for the drop bar rider that doesn’t want to stick to pavement, and can’t help but get dirty no matter the route. It has a 6061 aluminum frame that has Beyond Road Geometry for enhanced stability for off-pavement use. The frame comes with a full carbon fork and features internal cable routing, mudguard and rack mounts, and 12mm thru-axles on the front and rear.
The 1 version of the Marin Gestalt comes with a Shimano Sora 2×9-speed drivetrain. The gearing is perfect for all-day adventures, climbs, and commutes to work with all your gear. The Tektro MD-C500 dual piston road mechanical disc brakes provide reliable stopping power in all weather conditions. Marin Aluminum double-wall rims are paired with Vee Tire Zilent tires. The rims can be set up tubeless with the proper tires so you can experience fewer flats, a smoother ride, and better traction.
