Cross-country bikes are lightweight and highly capable of taking on tough rides and races. These bikes are perfect for climbing, all-day epic rides, racing, and much more. The Santa Cruz Highball 3.1 C S Bike is the flagship carbon hardtail race thoroughbred, and a dark horse in XC versatility. The Carbon C Frame uses 100mm of travel on the front and 29″ wheels that roll over roots and rocks with ease. The frame features a 27.2mm seat post for a smoother ride, internal cable routing, capacity for three bottle cages, a threaded bottom bracket, and clearance for up to 2.4″ tires.
The S version of the Santa Cruz Highball comes with a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-50T gear range that makes climbing and navigating difficult terrain much easier. SRAM Level TL hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. RaceFace AR Offset 27 29″ Rims are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race Tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats.
