If you’re the type of rider who prefers descending at breakneck speeds and wants to catch a ride back to the top, then you’ll want a downhill bike. Downhill bikes are burly, long-travel mountain bikes that are designed to handle the roughest and scariest trails out there with ease. The Pivot Phoenix Pro Saint Bike is built by racers, for racers. It has a lightweight and incredibly strong full carbon frame that uses 190mm of DW-Link suspension travel on the rear and 203mm of travel on the front. 29″ wheels increase momentum, tire contact patch, and stability. SuperBoost Plus increases the 29″ wheel stiffness, strength, and durability and is paired with the lowest Q-factor on a DH bike. The frame also features internal cable routing, integrated frame protection, integrated chain guide, fork bumpers, and clearance for up to 29×2.6″ tires.
The Pro Saint version of the Pivot Phoenix Bike comes with a Shimano Saint 10-speed drivetrain. With an 11-25T cassette on the rear and a 34T chainring up front, you’ll have all the gearing you need to pedal through the gnarliest terrain and sprint to the finish line. Shimano Saint M820 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide exceptional stopping power and modulation so you can descend with confidence. Lastly, DT Swiss FR560 wheels are paired with Maxxis Assegai DH Casing Tires that offer superior grip in all riding conditions so you can fly down the mountain.
