Mountain biking on a trail bike is just pure fun. Trail bikes have a more aggressive setup compared to an XC bike, so you can descend faster and handle technical terrain better so you can ride faster, farther, and more efficiently. The Salsa Spearfish Deore 29″ Bike is built to take your ride to the next level. It has a heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum frame that translates more of your pedal power into propulsion. The frame uses 120mm of travel on the front and 100mm of Split Pivot suspension on the rear. The frame features a flip chip so you can adjust the geometry with ease, progressive geometry, wide tire clearance for up to 29×2.6″ or 27.5×3.0″ tires, tons of accessory mounts, internal cable routing, and integrated frame protection.
The Deore version of the Salsa Spearfish comes with a Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-51T so you can laugh all the way to the top of the mountain. Tektro HD-M285 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power so you can descend with confidence. WTB ST i25 TCS 2.0 rims are paired with Maxxis Forekaster and Ikon tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the TranzX Dropper Post, you’ll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
