When going fast on the pavement is your only goal, then you’ll want an aerodynamic road bike. The Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2 Bike has one job and that’s to get to the finish line before every else. The carbon fiber frame and fork have reduced drag by 65 grams and increased the frame’s surface area while still reducing overall weight. The deeper frame sections maximize the shapes allowed by the UCI. Meanwhile, the iconic V-stem has been further refined, and a new fork designed to simplify the entire front end. The frame comes with 28mm tires but has clearance for up to 34mm tires. The frame also features internal cable routing and two water bottle cage mounts.
The Ultegra Di2 version of the Cervelo S5 comes with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed electronic drivetrain. With a 52/36T chainring combo up front and an 11-30T cassette on the rear, you’ll have no issues sprinting, climbing, or cruising to the end of your ride. Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Reserve 52/63 carbon wheels are paired with Vittoria Corsa TLR G tires that roll efficiently and smoothly on the pavement. The wheels and tires can also be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Cervelo SP20 carbon seatpost, you’ll have a smoother ride over bumpy roads compared to an aluminum seatpost.
